2024 AU Student Research Symposium Awards
Our graduate and undergraduate students presented posters showcasing current research projects at the 2024 AU Student Research Symposium. Two of our students, Natasha Grabau and Julia Peterson, were recognized for their presentations. Natasha Grabau received the University-Wide 2nd Best Graduate Poster Presentation in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Category for her poster “Role of Sleep in Auto-immune Diseases". Julia Peterson received the University-Wide 2nd Best Undergraduate Poster Presentation in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Category for her poster “Examine the Effectiveness of an Orexin 2 Receptor (OX2R) Agonist on Memory, Anxiety, and Depression in Narcoleptic Orexin Knock-out (OX-KO) Mice".
